Santa Fe continuously ranks among the world's top holiday destinations, attracting visitors with its unusual combination of scenic beauty, rich history, cultural diversity, and high concentration of performing arts venues, fine restaurants, and interesting attractions.
You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at San Miguel Chapel and Palace of the Governors. Do your shopping at Nedra Matteucci Galleries and Kakawa Chocolate House. When in Santa Fe, make a side trip to see El Santuario de Chimayo in Chimayo, approximately 38 minutes away. It doesn't end there: examine the collection at Museum of Indian Arts & Culture and take in the exciting artwork at Keshi.

For more things to do, where to stay, other places to visit, and more tourist information, refer to the Santa Fe trip planning website .

Albuquerque remains one of the state's secret jewels, as its tourist attractions are often overshadowed by the more popular holiday destination of Santa Fe.
Sky City Cultural Center & Haak'u Museum and Anderson-Abruzzo International Balloon Museum are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Step off the beaten path and head to New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science and Albuquerque Museum. Change things up with these side-trips from Albuquerque: National Radio Astronomy Observatory (in Socorro) and New Mexico Mining Museum (in Grants). It doesn't end there: see the interesting displays at New Mexico Steam Locomotive and Railroad Historical Society and browse for treasures at Tinkertown Museum.

For reviews, photos, other places to visit, and other tourist information, read Albuquerque online attractions planner .
