Albuquerque remains one of the state's secret jewels, as its tourist attractions are often overshadowed by the more popular holiday destination of Santa Fe.
Kick off your visit on the 28th (Sat): get a new perspective on nature at New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science and then pause for some serene contemplation at Capilla de Nuestra Senora de Guadalupe.

When in Santa Fe, make a side trip to see Puye Cliff Dwellings in Espanola, approximately 50 minutes away. Next up on the itinerary: appreciate the extensive heritage of Canyon Road, pause for some serene contemplation at The Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi, explore the world behind art at Georgia O'Keeffe Museum, and take in the spiritual surroundings of Loretto Chapel.

Abiquiú is a small census-designated place located in Rio Arriba County, in northern New Mexico in the southwestern United States, about 53 miles (85 km) north of Santa Fe. On the 5th (Sat), explore the world behind art at Georgia O'Keeffe Museum, then gain insight at Ghost Ranch, and then explore the striking landscape at Plaza Blanca.
