New York City to Taos is an approximately 10.5-hour combination of bus, flight, and car. You can also do a combination of flight and shuttle; or drive. The time zone difference moving from Eastern Standard Time to Mountain Standard Time is minus 2 hours. While traveling from New York City, expect slightly colder days and much colder nights in Taos, ranging from highs of 51°F to lows of 21°F. Start off your visit on the 28th (Thu): take in the spiritual surroundings of San Felipe de Neri Church, appreciate the extensive heritage of Albuquerque Old Town, and then have fun and explore at Explora Science Center and Children's Museum of Albuquerque. Traveling from Santa Fe in November, Albuquerque is a bit warmer at night with lows of 36°F. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 30th (Sat) to allow enough time to travel back home.
