Known for its Creole cuisine, rich musical tradition, and nearby swamps and plantations, New Orleans is one of the nation's oldest cities.
You'll explore and learn at Whitney Plantation and The Sydney and Walda Besthoff Sculpture Garden at NOMA. Deepen your sense of the past at sights like Garden District and Jackson Square. Spend the 28th (Tue) exploring nature at Jean Lafitte National Historical Park and Preserve. There's much more to do: examine the collection at The National WWII Museum, appreciate the extensive heritage of French Quarter, take in the spiritual surroundings of St. Louis Cathedral, and make a trip to Pontalba Buildings.
