Kick off your visit on the 1st (Sat): hunt for treasures at Chelsea Market, take a stroll through Fifth Avenue, go for a walk through Times Square, then settle in for a delightful tour with a horse-drawn carriage tour, and finally admire the majestic nature at Gantry Plaza State Park. On your second day here, look for all kinds of wild species at Rye Nature Center, immerse yourself in nature at Tallman Mountain State Park, then trek along Trailside Nature & Science Center, and finally grab your bike and head to Bliss Price Arboretum and Wildlife Sanctuary.

On the 4th (Tue), get to know the fascinating history of The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, see the interesting displays at National Air and Space Museum, get to know the fascinating history of Capitol Hill, then take a stroll through Old Town, and finally get engrossed in the history at National Portrait Gallery. On your second day here, expand your understanding of the military at U.S. Naval Academy, get a new perspective on nature at Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History, then admire the masterpieces at National Gallery of Art, and finally wander the streets of Georgetown.
