Albany is the capital of the U.S. Explore hidden gems such as New York State Museum and Albany Pine Bush Preserve. Albany Institute of History & Art and Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Step out of Albany to go to Voorheesville and see Thacher State Park, which is approximately 30 minutes away.
