Honeymoon Capital of the World

The city of Niagara Falls houses the U.S. half of the famous waterfall that straddles the border between Canada and the United States.
Explore Niagara Falls' surroundings by going to Buffalo (Canalside & Forest Lawn), Patriots and Heroes Park (in Williamsville) and Our Lady of Victory National Shrine & Basilica (in Lackawanna). There's much more to do: explore the fascinating underground world of Cave of the Winds, go for a walk through Goat Island, admire the striking features of Frank Lloyd Wright's Martin House, and admire the majestic nature at Devil's Hole State Park.

Asheville to Niagara Falls is an approximately 5.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a bus. In July, plan for daily highs up to 81°F, and evening lows to 63°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 18th (Tue) to allow time to fly to Gatlinburg.

Nestled in the lush, wooded forests of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Gatlinburg is Tennessee’s premier mountain resort destination.
When in Gatlinburg, make a side trip to see River Rafting & Tubing in Hartford, approximately Hartford away. Plan for a day of cool, family-friendly fun on the 19th (Wed) at Dollywood. There's still lots to do: brush up on your knowledge of spirits at Sugarlands Distilling Company, take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Mount LeConte, tour the pleasant surroundings at Alum Cave Trail, and identify plant and animal life at Roaring Fork.

Fly from Niagara Falls to Gatlinburg in 6 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or do a combination of train, bus, and car. Expect a bit warmer temperatures when traveling from Niagara Falls in July; daily highs in Gatlinburg reach 87°F and lows reach 69°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 23rd (Sun) to allow time to drive back home.
