A culturally diverse city situated on the shores of Lake Erie, Cleveland boasts many places to visit, such as world-class museums, popular amusement parks, and sprawling recreational areas.
Kick off your visit on the 17th (Sun): browse the eclectic array of goods at West Side Market, then see the interesting displays at Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, then explore the world behind art at The Cleveland Museum of Art, and finally contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Our Lady of Lourdes Shrine. On the 18th (Mon), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: take in the architecture and atmosphere at St. Paul Greek Orthodox Church, admire all the interesting features of Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens, then explore the historical opulence of Squire's Castle, and finally steep yourself in history at Wade Memorial Chapel.

Portland to Cleveland is an approximately 8.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of train and flight; or drive. The time zone changes from Pacific Standard Time to Eastern Standard Time, which is usually a 3 hour difference. Traveling from Portland in March, expect Cleveland to be slightly colder, temps between 42°F and 29°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 18th (Mon) to allow enough time to take a train to Sandusky.
