Theme Park Capital of the World

For most people, any mention of Orlando immediately conjures up images of sprawling theme parks filled with characters plucked right out of popular animated movies.
Step out of Orlando to go to Saint Cloud and see Boat Tours & Water Sports, which is approximately 38 minutes away. Have a day of magic on the 2nd (Sun) at Walt Disney World Resort. Pack the 4th (Tue) with family-friendly diversions at Universal's Islands of Adventure. There's still lots to do: get in on the family fun at Universal Orlando Resort, get the adrenaline pumping with an extreme tour, make a splash at Discovery Cove, and explore the world behind art at Museum Of Illusions Orlando.

Bayou City

Although urban sprawl remains synonymous with Houston, most of the city's tourist attractions lie within the relatively small downtown area, surrounded by diverse neighborhoods housing the nation's biggest African-American, Asian-American, and Latino communities.
Kick off your visit on the 6th (Thu): stroll the grounds of Glenwood Cemetery, then take in the architecture and atmosphere at Lakewood Church, then tee off at Hermann Park, and finally trek along White Oak Bayou Trail. Keep things going the next day: see the interesting displays at Houston Museum District and then examine the collection at Space Center Houston.
