Nicknamed the "Emerald City" because of its abundant evergreen trees, Seattle is the cultural and business center of the Pacific Northwest, as well as a popular holiday destination.
Start off your visit on the 9th (Sat): take a stroll through Pike Place Market and then take in panoramic vistas at Space Needle. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: examine the collection at The Museum of Flight, admire the masterpieces at Seattle Art Museum, then tour the pleasant surroundings at Kerry Park, and finally explore the world behind art at Chihuly Garden and Glass.

Houston to Seattle is an approximately 7-hour flight. You can also do a combination of bus, taxi, and flight; or drive. The time zone changes from Central Standard Time to Pacific Standard Time, which is usually a -2 hour difference.
