A big city with a small-town feel, Portland is home to the country's biggest rose test garden, perched on a hill overlooking downtown.Visit Timberline Lodge and Ski Area and The Grotto - National Sanctuary of Our Sorrowful Mother for their historical value. Visiting Mount Hood and Forest Park will get you outdoors.
