Seattle — 3 nights

Nicknamed the "Emerald City" because of its abundant evergreen trees, Seattle is the cultural and business center of the Pacific Northwest, as well as a popular holiday destination.
Relax by the water at Alki Beach and Seahurst Beach Park. There's still lots to do: pick up some local products at Pike Place Market, take a leisurely stroll along Hiram M. Chittenden Locks, examine the collection at The Museum of Flight, and explore the world behind art at Chihuly Garden and Glass.

Houston to Seattle is an approximately 6-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a bus.
