Known globally as the home of the country's largest independent film festival, Park City finds its roots as an old silver boomtown located on the slopes of the Wasatch Mountains, part of the Rocky Mountains.
On the 16th (Thu), look for all kinds of wild species at Swaner Preserve and EcoCenter and then see what you can catch with a fishing tour. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 17th (Fri): go for a walk through Silver Lake and then fly down the slopes at Deer Valley Resort.

Fly from Pittsburgh to Park City in 7.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of bus and flight; or drive. The time zone changes from Eastern Standard Time (EST) to Mountain Standard Time (MST), which is usually a -2 hour difference.
