Lancaster — 7 nights

The heart of Pennsylvania's famous "Dutch Country," Lancaster is one of the nation's oldest inland cities, founded in 1730.
Attractions like The Amish Farm and House and Dutch Wonderland make great kid-friendly stops. Visit President James Buchanan's Wheatland and St. Joseph's Church for their historical value. Step out of Lancaster with an excursion to Wolf Sanctuary of PA in Lititz--about 34 minutes away. Next up on the itinerary: examine the collection at Landis Valley Museum, get engrossed in the history at LancasterHistory, look for gifts at National Watch and Clock Museum, and explore the landscape on two wheels at Northwest Lancaster County River Trail.

To see other places to visit, reviews, and tourist information, you can read our Lancaster journey planner.
