Drive from Lancaster to Gettysburg in 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of train and bus. In July in Gettysburg, expect temperatures between 84°F during the day and 66°F at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 13th (Sat) to allow time to travel to State College.
