Known primarily for its steel-related heritage and 446 bridges, Pittsburgh sits at the confluence of the Monongahela and Allegheny Rivers, which meet to form the Ohio River.
Start off your visit on the 29th (Sat): see the interesting displays at Bicycle Heaven and then examine the collection at Randyland. On the 30th (Sun), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: get engrossed in the history at Senator John Heinz History Center, get curious at Carnegie Science Center, thenexamine the collection at The Nationality Rooms, and finally take an in-depth tour of Cathedral of Learning.

Located near the memorial park marking the site of one of the largest Civil War battles, the town of Gettysburg sits in a landscape of rolling green hills with views of the Blue Ridge Mountains in the distance.
Gettysburg Diorama and United States Army Heritage and Education Center (USAHEC) will appeal to museum buffs. Kids will enjoy Gettysburg Heritage Center and Gettysburg National Military Park.
