A big city with a small-town feel, Portland is home to the country's biggest rose test garden, perched on a hill overlooking downtown.
Appreciate the collections at Columbia River Maritime Museum and Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum. Shop till you drop at Powell's City of Books and Beach Books.
