Provo is the third-largest city in the U.S. state of Utah, located 43mi south of Salt Lake City along the Wasatch Front. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Rock Canyon and The Soap Factory. Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Provo: Payson (Grotto Trail & Nebo Scenic Loop Byway), Rowley's Red Barn (in Santaquin) and American Fork Canyon (in American Fork).
