Ponce is both a city and a municipality in the southern part of Puerto Rico. On the 6th (Sat), admire the masterpieces at Museo de Arte de Ponce, enjoy the sea views from Cardona Island Light, then stop by Plaza del Caribe, and finally look for gifts at Mi Coqui. Here are some ideas for day two: see the interesting displays at Parque de Bombas, examine the collection at El Museo Castillo Serralles, and then kick back and relax at La Guancha.

For ratings, reviews, photos, and tourist information, refer to the Ponce trip itinerary builder.

Boston, USA to Ponce is an approximately 9-hour flight. Due to the time zone difference, you'll lose 1 hour traveling from Boston to Ponce. Rincon ©
A seaside playground in the Caribbean, Rincon was a small agricultural and fishing town until it hosted the 1968 World Surfing Championship.
Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Tres Puertas Art Gallery and Playa Oeste Gallery. We've included these beaches for you: Domes Beach and Sandy Beach. Change things up with these side-trips from Rincon: Bamboo Art & Sea Glass Creations (in Isabela) and Aguadilla (Tinto Wine Shop & Crashboat Beach). There's still lots to do: visit a coastal fixture at El Faro Lighthouse, stop by The Uncharted Studio, and glide peacefully along the water with some of the best stand-up paddleboarding in the area.

To see ratings, maps, and tourist information, refer to the Rincon travel itinerary creator.

Getting from Ponce to Rincon by car takes about 1.5 hours. January in Rincon sees daily highs of 84°F and lows of 73°F at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 11th (Thu) so you can travel to Carolina.
