City by the Sea

With coastline on the west, south, and east, Newport is a maritime city with a rich history.
Venture out of the city with trips to Colt State Park (in Bristol) and Providence (Rhode Island State House, RISD Museum, &more). There's still lots to do: examine the collection at The Breakers, admire the landmark architecture of Marble House, contemplate the long history of The Elms, and make a trip to International Tennis Hall of Fame.
