Best known for its 1692 witch trials, Salem has a number of significant historical sites, a bustling downtown, and many witch-themed attractions.

Explore Salem's surroundings by going to Benson Park (in Hudson), Concord (Walden Pond State Reservation, Louisa May Alcott's Orchard House, &more) and Buckman Tavern (in Lexington).
