Utah's capital and most populous city, Salt Lake City boasts a small-town feel, big-city amenities, and plenty of nature on its doorstep.

You can do a combination of flight and bus from Salt Lake City to Boulder in 5 hours. Other options are to drive; or take a bus. Traveling from Salt Lake City in May, expect Boulder to be little chillier, temps between 66°F and 44°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 7th (Tue) so you can travel to Providence.

Providence has undergone a major upgrade in recent years, transforming from a rough-around-the-edges industrial city into an epicenter of culture.
