Get in touch with nature at Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve and La Jolla Cove. Attractions like San Diego Zoo and SeaWorld San Diego make great kid-friendly stops. A famed resort town since the early 20th century, Santa Monica sits on the picturesque Santa Monica Bay, bordered on three sides by the city of Los Angeles.
On the 27th (Wed), take in the waterfront at Santa Monica Pier, then see the sky in a new way at Camera Obscura, then take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Santa Monica Mountains, and finally admire the striking features of Shotgun House. On the next day, see the interesting displays at The Getty Villa, then stroll through Santa Monica State Beach, and then admire all the interesting features of 26-Mile Bike Path.
