You can drive from San Francisco to Big Sur in 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of train and taxi; or take a bus. In June, plan for daily highs up to 68°F, and evening lows to 53°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 12th (Sun) to allow time to travel back home.
