Emerald City

Nicknamed the "Emerald City" because of its abundant evergreen trees, Seattle is the cultural and business center of the Pacific Northwest, as well as a popular holiday destination.
Get outdoors at Alki Beach and Green Lake Park. Step off the beaten path and head to Chateau Ste. Michelle Vineyards and Washington Park Arboretum. There's much more to do: take a stroll through Pike Place Market, take in panoramic vistas at Space Needle, take a leisurely stroll along Hiram M. Chittenden Locks, and walk around Kerry Park.
