Emerald City

Nicknamed the "Emerald City" because of its abundant evergreen trees, Seattle is the cultural and business center of the Pacific Northwest, as well as a popular holiday destination.
Popular historic sites such as Bruce Lee Grave Site and Pioneer Square are in your itinerary. Your cultural itinerary includes sights like Chihuly Garden and Glass and Pike Place Market. Get out of town with these interesting Seattle side-trips: Point No Point Lighthouse & Park (in Hansville), Port Townsend (Jefferson Museum of Art & History & Fort Worden State Park) and Tahoma National Cemetery (in Kent). Next up on the itinerary: look for all kinds of wild species at Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge, stroll through W.W. Seymour Botanical Conservatory, admire the sheer force of Snoqualmie Falls, and steep yourself in history at West Point Lighthouse.

In April, daily temperatures in Seattle can reach 61°F, while at night they dip to 46°F. Cap off your sightseeing on the 27th (Sat) early enough to travel back home.
