Part of Colorado's Royal Gorge Region, Cañon City straddles the Arkansas River.
On the 31st (Wed), see the interesting displays at Royal Gorge Regional Museum and History Center, then relax and float downstream with a rafting and tubing tour, and then see the interesting displays at Museum of Colorado Prisons.

Leadville is the statutory city that is the county seat and only incorporated municipality in Lake County, Colorado, United States. On the 1st (Thu), mingle with the ghosts of the past at South Park City Museum and then relax and float downstream with a rafting and tubing tour.
