The time zone changes from Central Standard Time (CST) to Eastern Standard Time (EST), which is usually a 1 hour difference. Traveling from Huntsville in March, things will get somewhat warmer in Marco Island: highs are around 80°F and lows about 61°F. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 12th (Sat) so you can go by car to Everglades City.
