Known as the capital of country music, the thriving city of Nashville combines old-world southern charm with a progressive urban flair.
Nashville is known for nightlife, museums, and historic sites. Your trip includes some of its best attractions: examine the collection at Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, get engrossed in the history at The Johnny Cash Museum & Cafe, see a show at Grand Ole Opry, and contemplate the long history of Belle Meade Historic Site & Winery.

Finish your sightseeing early on the 6th (Mon) so you can drive to Pigeon Forge.

Pigeon Forge — 4 nights

A tiny town with big tourist appeal, Pigeon Forge bills itself as the "Center of Fun in the Smokies." Just a short drive from the national park protecting the diverse plant and animal life of the Great Smoky Mountains, the town features numerous places to visit, such as bars, restaurants, cafes, theaters, and shops.
Venture out of the city with trips to Hartford (River Rafting & Tubing & Zipline). There's much more to do: brush up on your knowledge of spirits at Sugarlands Distilling Company, tour the pleasant surroundings at Roaring Fork, see the interesting displays at Titanic Museum Attraction, and trek along Grotto Falls Parking.
