Just a short drive from the national park protecting the diverse plant and animal life of the Great Smoky Mountains, the town features numerous places to visit, such as bars, restaurants, cafes, theaters, and shops.
Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Tennessee Homemade Wines and Titanic Museum Attraction. And it doesn't end there: brush up on your knowledge of spirits at Sugarlands Distilling Company, find something for the whole family at Dollywood, take in the exciting artwork at Fowler's Clay Works, and admire nature's wide array of creatures at Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies.

The largest city on the Mississippi River, Memphis bills itself as both the "Birthplace of Rock" and "Home of the Blues." With such a rich musical heritage, it shouldn't come as a surprise that Elvis Presley chose to live in Memphis during his later years.
Kick off your visit on the 1st (Wed): contemplate in the serene atmosphere at St. Peter Catholic Church, pause for some photo ops at National Civil Rights Museum - Lorraine Motel, get to know the fascinating history of Beale Street, then steep yourself in history at The Peabody Ducks, and finally contemplate the long history of Sun Studio. Here are some ideas for day two: make a trip to Graceland.
