A tiny town with big tourist appeal, Pigeon Forge bills itself as the "Center of Fun in the Smokies." Just a short drive from the national park protecting the diverse plant and animal life of the Great Smoky Mountains, the town features numerous places to visit, such as bars, restaurants, cafes, theaters, and shops.
Attractions like Roaring Fork and Zipline make great kid-friendly stops. Step out of the city life by going to River Rafting & Tubing and Noah Bud Ogle Cabin. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Pigeon Forge: Great Smoky Mountains National Park (Chimney Tops & Mount LeConte). Next up on the itinerary: see the interesting displays at Titanic Museum Attraction, get in on the family fun at Smoky Mountain Alpine Coaster, sample the fine beverages at Sugarlands Distilling Company, and contemplate the long history of Little Greenbrier School.
