Although urban sprawl remains synonymous with Houston, most of the city's tourist attractions lie within the relatively small downtown area, surrounded by diverse neighborhoods housing the nation's biggest African-American, Asian-American, and Latino communities.
Kick off your visit on the 14th (Sun): examine the collection at Space Center Houston. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: test your problem-solving skills at The Escape Game Houston, then explore the different monuments and memorials at Glenwood Cemetery, then get curious at The Houston Museum of Natural Science, and finally explore and take pictures at Minute Maid Park.

As the state’s second largest city, San Antonio embodies Texas’ rich cultural heritage while maintaining the Old West charm of an oil town.
Start off your visit on the 16th (Tue): Head underground at Natural Bridge Caverns, then contemplate the long history of The Alamo, then shop like a local with The San Antonio River Walk, and finally take in the architecture and atmosphere at San Fernando De Bexar Cathedral.
