Traverse City might be well known for its huge cherry industry, but its position along Grand Traverse Bay in Lake Michigan endows it with fine scenery and a wealth of outdoor attractions.
Start off your visit on the 9th (Thu): steep yourself in history at The Village at Grand Traverse Commons, then don't miss a visit to Benjamin Twiggs, legendary cherry products, and then savor the flavors at Food & Drink. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 10th (Fri): visit a coastal fixture at Mission Point Lighthouse and then explore the striking landscape of Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore.

Dearborn — 3 nights

Dearborn sits as part of the Detroit metropolitan area and was the home of Henry Ford.
Your day by day itinerary now includes Glass Academy. Start off your visit on the 11th (Sat): pick up some new knowledge with Glass Academy, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Islamic Center of America, see the interesting displays at The Henry Ford, then see the interesting displays at Greenfield Village, and finally see the interesting displays at Arab American National Museum.
