Tucson

— 7 nights

Old Pueblo

One of the fastest-growing metropolitan areas in the country, Tucson is a city on a cultural crossroads, with European, Native American, Mexican, and Asian residents blending and sometimes conflicting with one another.
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Tucson: Mt. Lemmon SkyCenter Observatory (in Mount Lemmon), Tombstone (Gunfighter Hall of Fame, O.K. Corral, &more) and Double R Ranch (in Benson). Spend the 5th (Wed) exploring nature at Saguaro National Park. There's much more to do: see the interesting displays at Pima Air and Space Museum, immerse yourself in nature at Catalina State Park, stroll around Tohono Chul, and learn more about the world around you at Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum.

To find ratings, other places to visit, where to stay, and more tourist information, read Tucson trip itinerary planning site.

In May, daily temperatures in Tucson can reach 88°F, while at night they dip to 60°F.
