The Big Easy

Known for its Creole cuisine, rich musical tradition, and nearby swamps and plantations, New Orleans is one of the nation's oldest cities.
On the 20th (Sat), learn about wildlife with up-close encounters at Audubon Zoo, then pause for some serene contemplation at St. Louis Cathedral, and then don't miss a visit to French Quarter. Keep things going the next day: get to know the fascinating history of Jackson Square, examine the collection at The National WWII Museum, and then wander the streets of Garden District.

A busy city on the Gulf Coast, Biloxi is one of the nation's oldest communities, first settled by Europeans in 1699.
On the 22nd (Mon), make a trip to Beauvoir, take a leisurely stroll along Biloxi Lighthouse Pier, then enjoy the sand and surf at Biloxi Beach, and finally try your luck at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Biloxi.
