Copper Harbor is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in northeastern Keweenaw County in the U.S. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Fort Wilkins State Park and Quincy Mine. Get out of town with these interesting Copper Harbor side-trips: The Jampot (in Eagle Harbor) and Mineral Museum of Michigan (in Houghton). Next up on the itinerary: walk around Hunter's Point Park, have a few drinks at Brickside Brewery, identify plant and animal life at Estivant Pines Nature Sanctuary, and explore the galleries of Eagle Harbor Lighthouse and Museums.
