Springdale — 2 nights

Located just outside Zion National Park, Springdale's 600 residents welcome thousands of visitors a year to their tiny town.
Your day by day itinerary now includes Zion-Mt. Carmel Tunnel, Observation Point, The Narrows, and other attractions you added. On the 15th (Sun), admire the sheer force of Emerald Pools, explore the striking landscape of The Narrows, and then make a trip to Observation Point.

The Route module shows you travel options from your home to Springdale. In January, plan for daily highs up to 52°F, and evening lows to 23°F. On the 16th (Mon), you'll have the morning to explore before heading off to Bryce.

Bryce — 1 night

Serving as a gateway to the adjacent Bryce Canyon National Park, the tiny town of Bryce draws outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers all year round.
Your day by day itinerary now includes Inspiration Point, Navajo/Queens Garden Loop and Bryce Canyon Visitor Center. Kick off your visit on the 16th (Mon): take in breathtaking views at Willis Creek, then get all the information you need at Bryce Canyon Visitor Center, then hike along Navajo/Queens Garden Loop, and finally get great views at Sunrise Point.

You can drive from Springdale to Bryce in 2 hours. Plan for slightly colder temperatures traveling from Springdale in January, with highs in Bryce at 36°F and lows at 8°F. You will have some time to spend on the 17th (Tue) before leaving for Moab.
