Located just outside Zion National Park, Springdale's 600 residents welcome thousands of visitors a year to their tiny town.
Start off your visit on the 7th (Mon): tee off at Sky Mountain Golf Course, then soothe aching muscles at SunSoker Tours, and then view the masterpieces at Worthington Gallery. Here are some ideas for day two: view the masterpieces at LaFave Gallery, take a memorable drive along Zion Canyon Scenic Drive, then explore and take pictures at Zion-Mt. Carmel Highway, then shop like a local with David J West Gallery, and finally take in the exciting artwork at Sorella Gallery.

Fort Smith to Springdale is an approximately 13-hour combination of flight and car. You can also drive. Due to the time zone difference, you'll gain 1 hour traveling from Fort Smith to Springdale. Expect slightly colder evenings in Springdale when traveling from Fort Smith in December, with lows around 20°F. Cap off your sightseeing on the 8th (Tue) early enough to go by car to Park City.

Known globally as the home of the country's largest independent film festival, Park City finds its roots as an old silver boomtown located on the slopes of the Wasatch Mountains, part of the Rocky Mountains.
Escape the urban bustle at Backcountry Snowmobiling and North Forty Escapes. For shopping fun, head to Park City Main Street Historic District or Gardner Village. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Park City: Eden (New World Distillery & Wasatch Parc Snow Tubing), Art at the Main Gallery (in Salt Lake City) and Diamond Peaks 6 Run Heli-Ski Tour (in Huntsville). There's still lots to do: tour the pleasant surroundings at Ski Butlers Park City, take in the exciting artwork at Fatali Gallery, brush up on your knowledge of spirits at High West Distillery, and browse the different shops at Park City Sport on Main.

Traveling by car from Springdale to Park City takes 5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of car, bus, and taxi; or fly. Traveling from Springdale in December, things will get a bit cooler in Park City: highs are around 35°F and lows about 13°F. On the 13th (Sun), wrap the sightseeing up by early afternoon so you can travel back home.
