Burlington is the most populous city in the U.S. state of Vermont and the seat of Chittenden County. Explore Burlington's surroundings by going to Smugglers' Notch Distillery Tasting Room (in Waterbury Center) and Stowe (Mount Mansfield State Forest & Stowe Recreation Path). There's lots more to do: browse the eclectic array of goods at Church Street Marketplace, engage your brain at ECHO, Leahy Center for Lake Champlain, trek along Burlington Bike Path, and examine the collection at Shelburne Museum.

Woodstock is the shire town of Windsor County, Vermont, United States. Spend the 10th (Wed) exploring nature at Marsh - Billings - Rockefeller National Historical Park. There's lots more to do: relax in the rural setting at Sugarbush Farm, tee off at Quechee Gorge Mini Golf, get engrossed in the history at Billings Farm & Museum, and take in the dramatic natural features at Quechee Gorge.

Manchester is a town in, and one of two shire towns (county seats) of, Bennington County, Vermont, United States. Kick off your visit on the 12th (Fri): take an in-depth tour of Hildene, The Lincoln Family Home and then relax in the rural setting at North Meadow Farm.
