Start off your visit on the 19th (Fri): take in the pleasant sights at King Neptune Statue on the Boardwalk and then enjoy the sand and surf at Sandbridge Beach. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: get up close and personal with brilliant marine life at Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center, examine the collection at Virginia Beach Surf & Rescue Museum, then stroll through Virginia Beach, and finally take in the waterfront at Virginia Beach Boardwalk.

New York City to Virginia Beach is an approximately 4-hour flight. You can also do a combination of bus and flight; or drive. In June in Virginia Beach, expect temperatures between 85°F during the day and 69°F at night. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 20th (Sat) so you can go by car to Williamsburg.

Founded in 1632 as a fortified settlement on the high ground between two rivers, Williamsburg served as a colonial capital of Virginia for over 80 years.
Attractions like Busch Gardens Williamsburg and Jamestown Settlement make great kid-friendly stops. Get out of town with these interesting Williamsburg side-trips: St. Luke's Historic Church & Museum (in Smithfield) and Virginia Museum of Fine Arts (in Richmond). It doesn't end there: contemplate the long history of Colonial Williamsburg and make a splash at Water Country USA.
