The capital of the United States, the District of Columbia contains the lion's share of the country's most treasured monuments, memorials, and public museums.
National Museum of African American History and Culture and Capitol Hill are good opportunities to explore the local culture. You'll explore and learn at National Portrait Gallery and National Gallery of Art. There's still lots to do: contemplate the long history of Arlington House - The Robert E. Lee Memorial, pause for some photo ops at Jefferson Memorial, get to know the fascinating history of The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, and see the interesting displays at The National Archives Museum.

Georgia’s largest city and capital, Atlanta is a thriving metropolis anchored by its southern roots.
On the 5th (Wed), take an in-depth tour of Atlanta History Center, then see the interesting displays at Fire Station No. 6, then browse the exhibits of National Center for Civil and Human Rights, and finally walk around Centennial Olympic Park. Here are some ideas for day two: get engrossed in the history at Jimmy Carter Presidential Library & Museum, then contemplate the long history of Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic Site, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Ebenezer Baptist Church, and finally have fun and explore at Interact Art Museum.

For most people, any mention of Orlando immediately conjures up images of sprawling theme parks filled with characters plucked right out of popular animated movies.
Kick off your visit on the 7th (Fri): admire the masterpieces at Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art, then see the interesting displays at Madame Tussauds Orlando, then engage your brain at SKELETONS: Museum of Osteology, and finally get up close and personal with brilliant marine life at SEA LIFE Orlando Aquarium.
