Fort Smith to West Yellowstone is an approximately 14-hour flight. You can also drive. Plan for much colder temperatures traveling from Fort Smith in April, with highs in West Yellowstone at 44°F and lows at 22°F. Vernal, the county seat and largest city in Uintah County is in northeastern Utah, United States, about 175mi east of Salt Lake City and west of the Colorado border. Vernal is known for adventure, museums, and nature.
