Williamstown is a home-rule-class city in Grant and Pendleton counties in the U.S. Your inner history buff will appreciate Lanier Mansion State Historic Site and Kentucky Vietnam Veterans Memorial. Ark Encounter and History Center will appeal to museum buffs. Explore Williamstown's surroundings by going to Frankfort (Switzer Covered Bridge, Buffalo Trace Distillery, & more), Woodford Reserve Distillery (in Versailles) and Equus Run Vineyard & Winery (in Midway). There's still lots to do: immerse yourself in nature at Clifty Falls State Park and contemplate the long history of Historic District.
