Start off your visit on the 5th (Sun): admire the sheer force of Vernal Fall, stroll through Nature Center at Happy Isles, then take in the dramatic natural features at Glacier Point, and finally take in the dramatic natural features at Sentinel Dome. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: explore the striking landscape of Bridalveil Fall, get great views at Yosemite, Tunnel View, then admire the sheer force of Yosemite Falls, then get great views at Valley View, and finally tour the pleasant surroundings at Yosemite Valley Loop Trail.

Rochester to Yosemite National Park is an approximately 12-hour combination of flight and bus. You can also drive; or do a combination of train and bus. The time zone changes from Eastern Standard Time (EST) to Pacific Standard Time (PST), which is usually a -3 hour difference. Traveling from Rochester in June, Yosemite National Park is little chillier at night with lows of 43°F. Cap off your sightseeing on the 7th (Tue) early enough to travel to Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park.

Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park — 4 nights

With mountain peaks reaching past 4,250 m (14,000 ft) and trees stretching to over 75 m (250 ft) high, Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks present nature on a grand scale.
Explore hidden gems such as Crescent Meadow Rd and Lakes Trail in Sequoia National Park. Get outdoors at Boyden Cavern and Zumwalt Meadow Trail. Step out of Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park to go to Visalia and see Giant Sequoia National Monument, which is approximately 1h 45 min away. There's still lots to do: admire the sheer force of Roaring River Falls, explore and take pictures at Generals Hwy, and stroll through Moro Rock Trail.

In June, Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park is somewhat warmer than Yosemite National Park - with highs of 94°F and lows of 62°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 11th (Sat) so you can fly back home.
