Named after the man responsible for establishing Napa Valley's first vineyard, Yountville is a destination for foodies.
You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Anderson's Conn Valley Vineyards and Modus Operandi Cellars. Your cultural itinerary includes sights like Merryvale Vineyards and Del Dotto Estate Winery & Caves. Go for a jaunt from Yountville to Calistoga to see Huge Bear at The Bank Tasting Room about 32 minutes away. There's lots more to do: explore the historical opulence of Castello di Amorosa, learn about winemaking at Jessup Cellars, and take in the exciting artwork at Ma(i)sonry Napa Valley.

For more things to do, maps, reviews, and tourist information, read Yountville trip itinerary planner.

In September in Yountville, expect temperatures between 81°F during the day and 51°F at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 7th (Sat) early enough to travel back home.
