Birmingham may be one of America's most controversial cities.
Kick off your visit on the 22nd (Mon): examine the collection at Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum, make a trip to Alabama Veterans Memorial Park, then learn about wildlife with up-close encounters at Birmingham Zoo, and finally get great views at Vulcan Park and Museum.
