Here are some ideas for day two: examine the collection at Whaling Museum, then make a trip to Brant Point Lighthouse, and then pause for some serene contemplation at St Paul's Episcopal Church.

Falmouth — 2 nights

Falmouth is a town in Barnstable County, Massachusetts, United States; Barnstable County is coextensive with Cape Cod. Start off your visit on the 4th (Mon): engage your brain at Sandwich Glass Museum and then grab your bike and head to Shining Sea Bikeway. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 5th (Tue): take in nature's colorful creations at Highfield Hall & Gardens, take an in-depth tour of Plimoth Patuxet, appreciate the history behind Plymouth Rock, then take an in-depth tour of Mayflower II, and finally visit a coastal fixture at Nobska Point Lighthouse.
