Do some cultural sightseeing at Old Mission Santa Ines and Margerum Wine Company Tasting Room. Visiting Cabrillo Bike Path and State Street Underpass will get you outdoors. Venture out of the city with trips to Fess Parker (in Los Olivos) and Lompoc (Taste of Santa Rita Hills & La Purisima State Historical Park). A town of hot springs and wine, Paso Robles (or "Pass of the Oaks") feels like a desert paradise to those who travel here.
Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Tobin James Cellars and Sculpterra Winery & Sculpture Garden. Get some cultural insight at Eberle Winery and J Dusi Winery. Venture out of the city with trips to Speed Boats Tours (in Avila Beach), Montana de Oro State Park (in Los Osos) and Mission San Luis Obispo de Tolosa (in San Luis Obispo). The adventure continues: kick back and relax at Piedras Blancas, cruise along Moonstone Beach Dr, and learn about winemaking at McPrice Myers Wines.
