You can drive from Charleston to Edisto Island in 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive. In May in Edisto Island, expect temperatures between 81°F during the day and 64°F at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 7th (Sat) to allow enough time to drive back home.
