Do some cultural sightseeing at NASA Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex and Space Shuttle Atlantis. You'll explore and learn at Valiant Air Command Warbird Museum and Harry and Hariette Moore Memorial Park. Get out of town with these interesting Cocoa side-trips: White Sands Buddhist Center (in Mims) and Cape Canavarel National Cemetery (in Scottsmoor).

Oak Ridge is a city in Anderson and Roane counties in the eastern part of the U.S. state of Tennessee, about 25mi west of Knoxville. Let the collections at American Museum of Science and Energy and Cordell Hull Birthplace State Park and Museum capture your imagination. Sgt. Alvin C. York State Historic Park and Pickett CCC Memorial State Park will appeal to history buffs. Explore Oak Ridge's surroundings by going to Cades Cove (in Great Smoky Mountains National Park) and Benton's Smoky Mountain Country Hams (in Madisonville).
